1. All scorecards must be shuffled and groups busted.
A group with three (3) or four (4) friends or family members,
plus an outside person is considered busted, provided that
the outside person is one of the scorekeepers for the group.
2. Stakes farthest from the target must be shot first,
unless directed otherwise by a shoot official.
3. When shooting, the shooter must touch the stake with a portion of his/her body.
4. Two- minute rule:
a. Two-minute maximum shooting time per shooter.
b. All groups must shoot from both stakes when double stakes
are used.
If your group is causing a backup this rule will be enforced. All world
championship
tournaments will shoot double stakes.
EXAMPLE: If there are four shooters in your group, your group
has four minutes to shoot.
If there are five shooters in your group, the group has six minutes
to shoot.
5. Shooter's arrow must weigh at least five (5) grains per
pound of shooting weight.
Shooting weight is defined as the peak draw weight (maximum draw weight
or thrust
weight, whichever is greater) that is obtained within the maximum draw
cycle.
Shooters will be allowed five (5) grains for scale differences.
Shooters at the maximum
end of a weight allowed for class will be two (2) pounds for scale
variation, but arrow
weight must follow bow weight. Equipment will be checked at random.
6. Once a shooter begins shooting a course he/she must finish
with his/her own group or
as assigned by range official. Any shooter or group that leaves
the range without the
authorization of a range official will not be allowed to continue.
(Exceptions: lightning, illness, or equitment failure).
7. Equitment failures:
a. Equipment failures must be visible and agreed upon
by the majority of the
group. Upon agreement, the shooter must have his/her scorecards
initialed by
the entire group as an equipment failure. The scorecards of the
shooter with
the equipment failure will be totaled and initialed by the scorekeepers
before
leaving the range. At that time, the shooter (with the failure)
only must
proceed foward though the course to the range tent, and notify a range
official.
b. The range official will hold the individual's scorecards
until the repairs are
completed and he/she is escorted back onto the range. The range
official will
determine the amount of the time necessary to make the needed repair.
The
time element will not be abused. A range official must escort
all persons re-
entering the range to the designated target. Equipment may be
exchanged
during the course except as pertains under rule # 5.
c. Equipment may be re-checked as the individual returns
to the range. Any
shooter leaving the range without following the guidelines of rule
# 6 will be
disqualified.
8. If there are three (3) or more shooters remaining in
the group, they may continue
shooting. If two (2) or less shooters remain, they must join
the following group, or
step aside and await a range official before continuing.
9. Ages are determined by the age of the competitor as of
March 31st of the current
tournament season.
10. Any person may enter into a higher age classification,
except senior, but once they
have advanced, they will remain there until the end of the tournament
season.

17. NETAA world championships will be a three-day event.
The first two days score will
decide the cut offs. The top five (5) scores in each class will
shoot-off on the third day.
The highest score on the third day (not the total of the three days)
will determine
the champion. Tie scores will be broken by counting total number
of 125. If a tie still
remains, the person with the highest 2 day cumlative cut off score
wins. If a tie still
remains, it will be broken by total 125 scored in a 2 day cumlative
cut off scores.
Scoring:
18. Double scoring is required. Scorecards will be
collected at the completion of each
course. All scorecards must be legible, completed, and signed
to be accepted. When
the scorecards are turned in to range official, it will not be subsequently
changed.
An inaccurate total that benefits the shooter's score will result in
the elimination of the
shooter's card. Anyone who alters without authorization, or falsifies
a score, or
knowingly has a score altered or falsified will be disqualified and
shall be ineligible to
complete in any NETAA sanctioned event for one year.
19. Targets must be scored before arrows are pulled.
Early pulled arrows score "0".
Repeat offenses will result in the offending shooter being disqualified.
20. The members of the group shooting must agree upon all
scores. Shooting groups will
be soley responsible for judging all arrows and scores. A majority
of the group rules
the score of the arrow. If there is a tie on the call of the
arrow, the shooter will
receive the benefit of the doubt, and the arrow will receive the higher
score. A
shooter has no input or opinion on the call of their own arrow.
21. To score, arrows must be stuck in the target.
A witnessed pass through is to be
scored as agreed on by the majority of the group, or re-shot before

while touching
the stake maybe re-nocked and re-shot.
23. An arrow that strikes another arrow on the way to the
target, and demolishes the
nock end of the arrow that is in the target, will receive the score
of the damaged
arrow. The damaged arrow must have enough damage caused to the
rear of the
arrow that it can not be shot.
24. An arrow that is embedded in the nock end of the arrow
that is embedded in the
target will be scored the same as the embedded arrow. (Robin Hood)

will be 3D type animal targets
with a center 12 ring and scoring will be as follows:
12 - circle centered inside the 10 circle;

12 circles;

All arrows must be least touch the circle to receive the
higher score.
